Last year around the same time was when I first spotted the 3.1 Phillip Lim Chloris eyeglasses at his SoHo store, the purple gradient frames that have become more or less an intrinsic part of my everyday look. Now I’m currently eyeing a new pair, this time in a basic brown or black hue. These two from Chloe and Elizabeth & James featured on Shopbop’s J Brand lookbook look great, no? Too bad they’re sold out!

      Hi Melinda! I just heard about this one brand called Warby Parker. Their glasses are pretty cheap, starting at $95, and you can buy up to 5 pairs to try on and then return the ones you want for free. It’s also like Toms shoes where they give a pair of glasses to someone who needs it for every purchase. Haven’t tried it myself, but I was told good things! http://store.warbyparker.com/
